Santa's Sleigh "Condemned" by Broad Lane......

Having condemned his sleigh for being unsafe and dangerous, Broad Lane came to the rescue and were able to provide a new chassis in order to not let anyone down on Christmas Day..

In appreciation of this ~ the Rugby Lions were able to get him on his way ~ and in order to have a bit of practice before the big day, managed to borrrow his sleigh and whip round Rugby for some fund raising..

They actually managed to collect £5100 for good causes in and around the Rugby area.

Geoff Clark was handed a Certificate of Appreciation at a presentation on 17th January at the Rugby Clock tower. It stated their appreciation of the " invaluable service and co-operation exteneded".

Says Adrian Gray (Manager ~ BL Rugby) ~ " It is a pleasure to have helped Santa and to assist the Lions in collecting being able to collect such a large sum of money for good causes as always".
