Alcester Service Centre

Established through demand and the desire to satisfy an ever increasing customer base, BL Alcester decided in 2005 to develop  a dedicated remote Customer Care and Service Centre. The final choice of site was discovered not ¼ mile north of the sales centre.

Purposely renovated to provide 15 bays, on site safe and secure storage for up to 125 units and accommodating a truly dedicated service reception team, this unit has proved to be a runaway success for both the customer and Broad Lane.

Easy to find and easy to park, removing all congestion from the main sales site allowing customers  to drop off and collect their unit with complete confidence.

25 members of staff permanently on site with a total commitment  to the service, repair and maintenance of your caravan or motorhome.

Found in a countryside setting, offering an award winning quality of service; factory trained technicians adopting the very best in industry practices and open five and a half days of the week.

As a gentle reminder, although nothing should be too much trouble for this team, please appreciate that the huge volume of work sometimes becomes overwhelming, so please book your vehicle in as soon as possible when the season really gets underway.

    Steve joined Birches Caravans of Wythall after leaving full time education in 1976, working in the body shop and subsequently the service centre. He moved to Allen’s Caravans (Parkhome and Static dealers) in 1988 as a mobile service engineer and joined BLA as Service Centre Manager in 1991. Says Steve: “The business has become far more complicated than ever and we now employ 20 personnel dedicated to the service and repairs of caravans and motorhomes in a purpose built
    9,000 sq ft facility.” A keen caravanner, Steve has helped put together an award winning team.

    As a former shop fitter, Dave’s keen eye for detail and steady calming influence has helped make our Service Centre one of the best in the country. Dave joined BLA in the Service Centre to become Supervisor immediately in 1993 and has helped develop the team to a strong outfit of reliable members over the years. Dave and his family are keen caravanners too and own a Swift Fairway!

    Lisa has enjoyed a respectful career from leaving school in a variety of Customer Service roles in the retail sector, she's been an invaluable member of our team for almost four years now and is a keen caravanner along with her family ~ in fact it was the caravan that initially introduced her to BLA. You will usually find Lisa as the first point of contact within the Service Centre, whether it's on the phone or in person ~ a warm and happy welcome is assured!

    Geoff is a retired naval man having served most of his working life on the high seas. He has been a valuable and important contributor, both up front and behind the scenes, in our Service Centre since 1994! He is a genuinely amiable person who always does his best for everybody.
