Broad Lane Leisure is a family business established by brother's Colin and Jack Brown in 1971; today it is one of the most respected and successful caravan dealers in the country and it is delighted to announce dramatic and exciting news:
Following an amicable demerger of the two founding families the Kenilworth and Alcester branches will continue under the ownership of Colin, Steve and Darren Brown and will be known as Broad Lane Leisure.
Daventry is being re-launched and re-branded as Venture Caravans under the ownership of Jack and David Brown with a new website which can be found at www.venture-caravans.com
As part of the family's re-structuring process the decision was made to close Broad Lane Caravans Ltd, Rugby, after 25 years of our ownership and investment.
The team, under Adrian Gray's leadership, built-up a very loyal base, providing excellent customer service to the surrounding area and we feel it is very important to clearly explain our continued commitment to you in the future.
Amongst other restrictions, including parking, increasingly we received messages of concern over the difficulties experienced as you attempted to drop-off and collect caravans or indeed shop or exchange gas cylinders and it became apparent that the business was actually out-growing the site.
Given that there are currently only five UK manufactures and Broad Lane/Venture hold all of these franchises, you will understand there is also a fair amount of repetition in stock holding too. Being brutally aware of how the business was being suffocated, due to the above reasons and others, we took a very serious decision to put a stake in the ground as to Rugby's future and how we could better serve everyone's requirements, whilst integrating with the family's own plans.
To this end a brand new ‘stand-alone' customer care and dedicated purpose built, four-bay service centre has been erected on the Daventry site seven miles away. Adrian Gray now manages this facility along with some of his original team including Steve Haymes (Service) and Sue Winham (Accounts & Admin).
Furthermore, we are genuinely delighted to announce Geoff Clark (Sales), Chloe Griffin (Accessories) and Vanessa Gray (Customer Care) have all accepted positions at the Broad Lane ‘Kenilworth' site.
We are mindful of how much fondness and belief many customers hold for their Rugby dealership and will do all possible to provide you with every ounce of the "old-fashioned" good customer service that has come to be expected.We know this is perhaps very difficult and possibly upsetting for some, however, with regard to warranty concerns and any aspect you would like to discuss in relation to your caravan or motor home, may we invite you to make a choice as to which of our dealerships you would now like to be "adopted" by in order to continue - as best we can - as normal.
